Thank you for your interest in presenting at the SENIA Unplugged 2024 conference. It is individuals like you that help SENIA share and fulfill its mission and vision.

Below is our presentation proposal form, but before you jump right into that, please review the presenter guidelines. You will find a ton of helpful information in there including important dates, video recording tips, how to upload and promote your presentation and much more.

Presenter Guidelines

SENIA Unplugged Virtual Conference 2024 Presentation Proposal Form

Interested in presenting?  We are looking for asynchronous workshop presentations to represent all community voices, self-advocates, teachers, instructional assistants, administrators, parents, specialists, students, etc.

Essential Proposal Dates

  1. Submit your proposal between April 11 – May 20
  2. Receive notification of your proposal status on June 3
  3. If accepted, return your speaker agreement by June 10

Selection Criteria

The SENIA conference committee looks at all of the proposals before making determinations.

Some things they will be looking at are:

  1. The workshop reaches a variety of audiences (beginner/intermediate/advanced in understanding of the topics) and from different levels of education (elementary, middle, high, administrative, etc.)
  2. The workshop provides 3-5 clear, actionable takeaways for session attendees.  The main focus should be on theory, content, and practice. Please note that workshops that focus exclusively on selling a product will not be considered.
  3. The workshop aligns with the overall theme and at least one of the designated strands.

Unless otherwise agreed upon with SENIA, understand that I/we will not receive payment for this presentation
